MACC and SWAC |

|
Points of Emphasis
1. Coaches, participants and spectators are not allowed to talk with the judges or the emcee during a match to question a ruling made by a judge or an answer given by a participant. There are no appeals. The decision of the judges is final.
2. Schools are encouraged to set standards of dress and behavior for MACC matches. It is understood that students coming to a MACC match from athletic practice or competition may not be able to dress in accordance with the school’s usual standard.
3. Coaches are ultimately responsible for the attire and behavior of their team members. MACC is an academic competition and a certain standard of behavior is expected.
4. Students should not bring items such as stuffed animals, signs, mascots, etc to the stage as they may cause distractions. Team introductions should be taken seriously.
